Not much better than no mat - needs to be thicker and more rigid. It’s so thin it must be kept flat or it will be bumpy or fold on itself. I would not recommend.

Poor quality chair mat that now has divots under chair wheels. Carpet is 1/4” thick. Mat was delivered with no packaging around it with dirty boot marks all over.

The mat works almost too well. I had some difficulty in placing it fully under my desk because the little pins close to the carpet are hard to move and thus edge the mat under the desk. But once placed the mat stayed put and works really well.
