Not perfect but a good buy.

I like the way it covers the carpet and makes it so my chair can move. However it does sort of dent in and the chair sticks in the dents if you’ve been sitting in it for a while. I think that is just the nature of the beast. This was the thickest mat I could find.

the mat indents under the wheels when sitting on it. The mat is supposed to be for slightly higher carpet levels - I had assumed that it would be firmer and not make "sink-holes" under the wheels. I would suggest finding a harder mat.

I should have bought one for a higher pile carpet even though I consider my carpet low pile

I'm sure this chair mat is fine for super low pile carpet but I guess my carpet is thicker. The wheels of my chair are making sloped indentations in the mat causing the chair to get a little stuck in place. I think if I had a mat intended for thicker carpet the nubby plastic spikes on the bottom would be longer and wouldn't allow the chair to cause such deep indentations in the mat.
