I guess this mat does it job protecting the carpet but I'd rather go without the mat. I have a u-shaped desk and roll from place to place alot. I can feel the "nubs" on the bottom side of the mat when I roll so it's pretty bumpy. Also I just got this mat and the wheels on my chair have already made permanent indentations in it. They cause me to get stuck when I'm trying to roll. I wouldn't recommend this mat.

Not rigid as I thought it would be. Chair sinks in and takes to much effort to move the chair around. Want to return it if possible.

This hard plastic floor mat is great. It does last a long time. I made sure of the specific size dimensions I measured the old mat to make sure this was the correct size. The price is little hefty but due to inflation and tariffs the cost is worth it because it will last for some time. I really enjoy the mat in my office space. I highly recommend it. Eventually I will go to a heavier mat but this will last for a good while.
