The mat does not grip the underlying carpet well. It constantly slides as the office chair is moved on it.

The one i wanted was out of stock so I ordered this one as I wanted a rectangle. i did not want the one with a lip under the desk. The special size works perfect for me

The mat wants to curl up at one end. I don't know how to prevent that without having to stack books on it. It's an OK mat just not terrific but then it was inexpensive.
