Mat is perfect protection

I bought this mat is to protect my hardwood floors from the legs of my chair where I set up my sewing table in our guest/hobby/TV room. I didn't want to have to roll up a mat and store it every time the table (which folds away in a cabinet) was not in use. This mat is virtually invisible so I can leave it on the floor all the time and you'd never know it's a hobby room as well as a guest room. Extra benefit: I dropped a hot glue gun on it and it didn't burn or leave a mark.

Smaller Mat

I had purchased a similar mat 2 years ago from Staples and found it to be large enough to cover the rug surface surrounding my desk. While it is nice and functional as well it is somewhat smaller than the previous version. I knew it would be as I measured before ordering but the slightly larger version (no longer available) was a better fit for the area. Quality is good... just less of it for a similar price.

mat does not grip the carpet well enough--tends to slide over time with motion of the chair. I have to pull it back into place every few days.

The chair mat is great but the tape goo was bad!

The chair mat was great but was not happy with the way it was shipped. The tape that was used to roll up the mat for shipping left tape glue on the chair mat. It was very hard to get off had to use goo-gone three times to get it all off the chair mat. Not very professional.
