Won't Lie Flat

I picked up the chair mat at a Staples store and it was not stored well. The mat was bent in addition to being rolled up. The sales person said to put it in the sun to flatten it but that was not an option because it is winter. The label said it would be more pliable after 24-48 hours which wasn't what happened. I used different objects to get it flat. After a week there still are some edges with curves to them--not much but enough to raise hem off the carpet. This might be a little dangerous for people walking by. The mat itself is very nice and if the edges lose their curve over time I will be very happy with the it. It's ok for now.

Received this mat a couple weeks ago and am very pleased. Very stable on my 3/4" high pile carpet and seems to be quite substantial. Will see how it holds up after more use.

Extremely difficult to unroll with space heater taking hours to soften followed by two days of Heavy book boxes in place to flatten.

I was looking for a replacement flat floor mat at a decent price. Staples had exactly what I needed for our home office and so far so good. Its not like other mats that take a week or two lay flat this one fit perfect and didn't require additional weight to get to lay right.

We purchased the deeps tinges to hold the caperpet in place but it still shifts as traffic crosses it.
