The subject mat is one size smaller than the Staples mat I had previously. The larger mat cracked and became too rough a surface to move the chair around after 2-3 years usage. The subject replacement will not stay in place on the carpet and when it comes in contact with adjacent furniture i.e. the leg of a hideaway bed couch it bends upward as the mat continues to move against it. The cleats are insufficient to hold the mat in place as the chair moves about. Accordingly the smaller mat is not satisfactory.

Low cost light duty. Replaced

Low cost light duty. Replaced a old much thicker one that cracked. I have a low pile carpet and the wheels of my chair do sink in just a little but the price was right.

It is not that thick

It is not very thick. I can see indentations in it already. But for price minus discount it is okay for now. Would not purchase at full price.
