This mat will not stay in position. It creeps along the carpet even with my weight and the weight of the chair. I thought I would notch the edges to fit between two legs of the table I use for my computer desk but even then the mat creeped to one side (creating a buldge). I now have table legs directly on the mat and while that has slowed it down it has not stopped the creeping. Frustrating. My carpet is high pile which is why I spent the extra money for this mat. I couldn't have done any worse with a mat $50 cheaper.

Very sturdy mat with gentle spikes unlike the old ones. Best of all mine was delivered flat so no patiently waiting for flattening to occur.

I did not liked as it does not stay firm on carpet. With chair it moves. I think i should have bought the other one.

The carpet mat was bought for my mother's apartment where she is using it for her plants. It is just the thing she needed to protect her carpet from any stains that may have taken place from the plant stands.
