TRU RED Remanufactured Cartridges Function if you are desperate

These remanufactured cartridges do not dispense ink as well as the new HP cartridges. So if you can buy the new HP ones I would suggest it. If the new cartridges are not available (which was my situation) then the remanufactured ones can be used. Just don't expect the quality.

I tried to install the cyan cartridge in my printer and it leaked all over me. Returning it and the other two color cartridges for a refund. As much as I hate to pay the higher price I'll be sticking with genuine HP cartridges.

These cartridges were rejected by my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 and printer would not print with them or after with re-installed older HP cartridges. Tried several web-recommended work arounds to no avail. More the fault of HP I think but a depressing end to a decent printer.
