Unfortunately this shredder was absolutely useless. It would not take multiple pages to shred at once even though it claims to be able to shred in 8-page batches. It had to be fed one page at a time and then would jam after about 3-4 pages.

While it shreds well the speed is quite slow and if you don't feed the paper precisely down into the slot it does not grab it. Additionally the directions say you have to shred for a very short time then let it sit for 15 minutes. Our original Staples shredder was a workhorse fast and could run for an hour before needing to be "rested."

Bought this to replace an older Staples shredder that was no longer functioning properly because it was at least 10 years old. This new one is great! Shreds faster and is a lot quieter than the old one.
