It is a high quality product. It is easy to use but you must get the paper you want shredded in exactly straight or it will wad up and bog down. It needs to be quieter to me it is to loud. It does what it says it will do shred your documents but will only shred about 4 or 5 pages withough bogging down. If you want a shredder for your own personal use this is the one to think about.

Excellent! Very easy to use! It says 8 sheets but I tempted fate and did 10 sheets one time. It handled it like a champ! It’s probably not good for the shredder to do on a regular basis but it can handle it.

Hands down the best shredder I have ever used. The paper is easy to load into the shredder there is no mess and it's simple to empty the contents when finished. Best of all this shredder is lightweight so I am able to move it from my office to another room with no issue. I highly recommend.

The Staples 8-sheet shredder is almost perfect. There are many positives with this products. It cuts paper and credit cards efficiently in a cross cut pattern. It automatically starts cutting as soon as I feed it through the slot and I don’t have to worry about it not being shredded enough. There are a one negatives that are not dealbreakers but could make the shredder more enjoyable to use. First is that it is very heavy. The handles are attached to the top shredder portion so if I need to transport or move the shredder around my office I can’t hold it from the handles otherwise I could accidentally knock it over and all the paper could fall out. Overall I’m satisfied with this shredder but I just have to be carefully when moving this.

I was very pleased with the Staples 8-Sheet Shredder. It was the perfect size to have next to my work desk and to shred as I went through my daily mail. I also like the look of the shredder too as it has a very modern sleek look to it. The shredder did well in shredding papers and envelopes. I did make sure to not over-feed more than the 8 page limit. I also liked that it was capable to shred credit cards. The most important feature that I like was that it has the more secure feature of cross cut shredding. The shredder did include a sample of the Shredder lubricant sheet however I did wish it included a plastic bag option or suggestion (for those of us who like to shred directly into a bag that can be tied and then discarded). Overall I am very pleased with this light duty shredder.

Overall the shredder is 5-star. It works great and officially shreds up to eight pages very well. It also smoothly shreds credit cards. The shredder also easily meets my requirements of continuous shredding without easily overheating. The bin also adequately meets my needs. The shredder also securely cross cuts into small short pieces for extra security. The shredder is also super safe. I would highly suggest buying this shredder.

The shredder was easy to set up and appears to well made. The shredder basket is light-weight compared to the shredder head so it is a bit top heavy but it didn't tip over. The shredder cross cuts the paper well and is able to handle the maximum 8 sheets. This is a better fit for a home office or for private use than for a large office. The shredder is quite loud and isn't well suited to a shared office space. It also can't handle large quantities of shredding before overheating. Overall the performance is good for its size.

The Staples 24565987 8-sheet shredder performed well for me. I have used it for over 2 weeks and I have had no problems with it that I consider serious. It did need to cool down for one session where I was shredding a couple hundred sheets of aper but I expect this to happen and i appreciate this feature as a safety mechanism for the shredder motor. I simply waited for approximately 30 minutes and then resumed the shredding. The noise level was acceptable; some folks don't like a lot of noise but honestly the device is shredding paper - I expect some noise. I did not find the noise level to be too loud. The shredder was easy to set up and use. the controls are user friendly and easy to understand. The shredder cuts paper in a cross-cut pattern that would be almost impossible for a bad guy to reconstruct. I typically try not to put too many pages in at once but to adequately test the shredder I did attempt 8 sheets several times and the shredder only jammed once perhaps because the paper was put in a little crooked. For test purposes I tried 10 sheets once and the shredder did jam; however it is a light duty machine and the manual clearly states that 8 sheets is the limit. All in all this is a very good light duty shredder that will definitely shred my documents in a secure fashion.
