This little machine is perfect for my relatively small volume of shredding. It is very compact has a convenient window to gauge fill in the hopper runs very quietly and can handle small clusters of sheets with ease.

If you improved the design in Some very simple ways you would have a little gem. It needs two sets of handles - molded right into the plastic - a set for the heavy top and a set molded into the sides of the catcher part. The first time I tried to empty the catcher part I knocked it over with the heavy top part (no handles on either part) I had a mess to clean up. so until you get some real handles on this item I do not recommend it
