The bin is flimsy with the weight of the shredder making it top-heavy. I had to prop it up to keep it from falling over. I got an Omnitech shredder from you (14 sheets) before this one & it worked great till I accidentally put paper with adhesive through & ruined it. As with other shredders I've had I just put a plastic bag inside & can just throw it out when it's full.

My only complaint is that the shred opening is quite narrow and isn't always easy to line the paper up just right to send it into the shredder. Otherwise so far so good.

I previously owned the staples mail mate shredder with a pull out drawer for emptying however I tried to shred a credit card which had metal in it and it ruined the shredder. This 8 sheet shredder works fine but I don’t like that you have to lift off the top to empty the bin.
