Looks nice but ...

I like the look of this - it adds nice contrast next to the hardwood floors. However it slips really easily. I have found that I have to be very careful as I sit into my chair where my feet are planted because it will slide very easily. But it looks nice and serves the purpose of protecting the floor. I would definitely recommend the product for use in the home office ... not sure I would recommend for use in an office setting since it could result in injury if the right person slipped on it.

The mat protects the floor well but scratches easy with a non rolling chair.

The only negative about this item is the color choice. There is either a light (oak) or what they call cherry as a medium color. My laminate flooring is teak color or what is generally accepted as a light cherry. The cherry color on this mat is very dark more like a mahogany or a dark brown. However it does what is was intended to do nicely.
