We have had a rubber floor mat and plastic floor mats and by far this one has been the best. It's easy to maneuver around on and is very sturdy. It is also very fashionable and looks great in my office with our cherry wood desk and book shelf. This floor mat has been the best over the rubber mat and the plastic mat that I had to replace after a short period of time. I'm satisfied!

Much better than the clear mat!

This is a great mat. We had to replace the ones that were textured clear as we went from a carpeted floor to a hard floor and it is a big improvement over the others! It looks perfect on out light wood laminate floor as well. The only issue I have with them is that they come with lots of waves and ruts in them so we put it down under the old mat for a couple weeks to work out all of the waves and now it is much better. Remember to purchase the proper mat for hard floors versus carpeted floors as it can make a difference in how your chair moves or wheels shred or not!

The Mat makes a difference!

I purchased this mat for personal use. I use this mat in my home office on a hardwood floor. I use it vertically and it fits perfectly between the legs of the desk. It extends half way under the desk and allows plenty of room behind the chair. There is plenty of room for my feet to be on it underneath and plenty of room for my roller chair to always be on it too. With this mat I can roll the chair around with ease. The thickness is perfect allowing for a smooth transition from mat to floor and back. Not only am I a fan of this mat the cat and dog love to lay on it too.

A MUST HAVE

This mat has proven itself to be a real winner. This mat lays flat-if you follow the directions and let it warm up instead of trying to force it to lay flat. The mat is thick enough to provide excellent protection and stay in place. Easy to clean. The wood grain goes with any décor and it blends in well with the hardwood floor. Very durable in fact I had expected to see some wear by now but haven't. No problems with chairs that have rollers on them that is all we are using with the mats. We did not use this mat on carpet so I am not sure of how this mat would perform.

Disappearing floor mat

Once you get this to lay flat (it comes rolled up and wants to stay that way for a while) you get complete floor protection that practically disappears. This is especially nice if you have solid wood flooring. You want it protected AND you want it to look nice. With this product you get what you want. Want to chair dance or play chair hockey in front of your desk? This isn't quite the one for you. It can move around a bit.

It is exactly what I needed in my sewing Center. I have the mat installed over slate tiles. Now the chair legs move smoothly when I sit down to begin sewing.

Excellent protection

These mats do an excellent job of protecting hardwood floors from scuffing by chairs. They are easy to use and practically invisible in use.

New Laminate Floor saver

Wanted a clear mat for the new laminate flooring we put down in my sewing room but this much darker mat shows it off very well and the size allows me to roll from the sewing machine to the ironing board to the cutting table. Great product for the price!
