Just put in a wooden floor in my den where my home office is located. My Staples purchased wheeled chair had kind of worn the carpeting below it. I purchased the chair mat in order to protect my new floor and enable me to move around with ease. I purchased this mat as I didn't want to clear plastic type as that looked too much like an business office setting. The colored mat almost matches the flooring I have. Once I unrolled it and laid it down I had to weight it down on the ends in order to let it adjust to a flatten state. About two days later it was on its own. Very pleased with this product.

Decent mat at a decent price

I was looking for a good chair mat for my hardwood floor as my chair was starting to make wear marks. I was astonished by how costly chair mats were getting to be. The clear vinyl plastic ones seamed much better than in years past. A lot more flexible a lot more expensive. I took a look at the Chestnut Laminate Chair Mat. It was quite a bit stiffer like the older style mats but made of different material. It was much less expensive than the others and matched well with my flooring so I decided to try it. So far it seems great. My chair rolls much better than on the floor. The mat was very hard to unroll and get to lay flat at first though. It appears to be holding up under the amount of use several hours daily that I put it through but only time will tell. All in all seams to be a good mat for a good price and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget to keep from damaging their floors.

Saving my hardwood flooring

This has been one of the best investments to protect the finish of our hardwood flooring. Extremely pleased with the wood veneer coloring.

Awesome chair mat

The laminate floor underneath my office chair was being ruined. I didn't realize that there were chair mats for this type of floor. Of course Staples had it and had it in stock for my color floor. Well it is better than I could have expected. My chair rolls smoothly and the pattern and color blend in nicely and of course my floor is protected.

The product was just what I was looking for and the sales clerk took on the task of checking the storage area to look for something not on the floor that he thought I would like. The product is great and the sales clerk got me in and out making Staplea a great place to shop. Thank you

When I first bought the chair floor mat I was concerned that it would not lay flat. But by morning it was completely flat and I was pleased with its size. It looks good on the floor and is sturdy enough to last for a while.
