chair pad is fine. only complaint is that the coupon I presented to the cashier was not accepted - it said "selected" which did not include this expensive item... these coupons you send to me by email should be honored.
Bought two mats a year ago for my work at home office for my husband and my desk. Loved them so much I bought two more to protect my newly refinished hardwood floors in my living room.
Mat works well protecting the wood floor. Color is better in reality than the catalog. Product arrived as stated. One complaint. The labels were placed on the decorative side of the mat! They were difficult to remove. We damaged some areas of the mat trying to remove them. Someone needs to point out to the manufacturer or distributor that there is just as much room on the underside of thr mat for labels.
First - don't even think you're getting a cherry mat. At best it is walnut at worst some non-descript color. This is printed to resemble wood kinda. It is really thin and slips on the hardwood floor. The label that is on the thing is harder than sin to get off. In this day and age how about easy peel labels like everyone else uses. This does not come wrapped for delivery so it arrived filthy dirty and a big boot print on it. Terrible to try and clean up. Remember - You get what you pay for
I wanted a wood looking mat for under my desk chair that didn't cost a fortune. This one was well priced but I failed to note it was intended for use on hard floors. My floor is plush carpeting. I am keeping it anyway since it makes my desk chair roll easier and I am not a heavy person. Don't know how long it will last. Would not advise it for someone who weighs more than 130lbs and is trying to use the mat on a carpeted floor. Too bad the other wood looking mats were sooooo expensive.
First off the color isn't Cherry. The way it shows up in the picture online is much closer to its true color; much less red than Cherry. That's OK for me as I wanted more brown less red and it matches my hardwood floor really well. The rest of the description is somewhat misleading as well. It should be described as a 1/8" Vinyl sheet that's printed to look like wood. So far it's functioned perfectly but I have no idea how durable it will be in the long term. Also one other thing to note is the direction of the grain of the simulated wood. The grain runs perpendicular to the long side of the mat. Take a look at your floor to be sure you'll be satisfied with the direction you'll have to place the mat if you want it to match the direction of the grain in your floor.
