I love the black; it looks great with the carpet. It doesn't have spikes on the bottom so it does move around a bit but I'm okay with that. Mine came rolled up tight but it unrolled easily and flattened out with no problem.

It is extremely cumbersome to flatten this mat it took a week with the mat below heavy bookcases and it still isn't entirely flat. This was recommended to me in order for my office chair to stop rolling on an uneven surface but the chair rolls just as much on this mat. So the mat definitely is not suitable for this purpose. Also it took almost a week longer to arrive than stated at purchase.

It's just plastic

Not great....it said it was wood veneer but it is not - just plastic/vinyl. It's cheap and may do the job but not what I wanted.

Lays flat looks nice and seems tough

I was frustrated buying online and getting thin rolled up mats that would not lay flat days later. This one came flat stayed flat and is nice looking on a wood floor.

Slips on floor

There is nothing rubber on the bottom to hold it in place so it slides very easily. moves around when you roll on it and if you walk up to the desk quickly and stop it’ll slide right out from under you. Also it came with the mailing label stuck directly to it which is nearly impossible to remove.
