I purchased this keyboard less than a year ago and found that the coating to the keys chips way too easily. I sent the manufacturer a message and, while this was NOT covered by the warranty (cosmetic damage), they did replace it for me... the coating on these new keys lasted about a month before chipping. I'm really disappointed in the quality of this keyboard, the customer service for the company was great though. I will not be buying another Razer product in the future.
I bought this keyboard in August 2022 for gaming. Within few months, the the letters in the keyboard started disappearing without any external factors ( other that the possible sweat on the fingers ). I have many several year old keyboards from LogiTech and Microsoft which are still in perfect condition. I
Decent, plug it in and it works as a keyboard, extra function keys and custom programming are nice, but that's about it. Backlight is pretty disappointing, quite a few dark spots making it hard to make out some keys. Biggest down fall is that it has no onboard memory, so you must have the Synapse SW running at all times for your custom keys and backlight settings to persist. As soon as the Synapse SW is exited, or you move the keyboard to a different PC, it goes back to it's defaults. Yes, if you have the settings saved to the cloud and the Synapse SW running on all PCs, the settings will persist, but on school and work PCs where you might not be able to install third party SW, this won't work.
Let down because this keyboard isn’t fully compatible with Macs. Should’ve been obvious to me as this is a gaming keyboard, but disappointed nonetheless. Will be returning.
I purchased the keyboard to replace another razer I had. Works well for sure but I find the space button is wierd. It feels like your not pressing it enough or don't knowtice youve pressed it and that takes a while to get use to. Lighting is weak for having customizable lighting but for the price it preforms pretty ok.
