Definitely a lot of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 5th wheel k1max kids electric scooter is amazing. My almost 9-year-old absolutely loves it. It was really easy to open from the package and have set up within a matter of 10 minutes. I love that you were able to set it to where it can either go 1 to 5 mph or all the way up to 10 mph depending on the child and how comfortable they are with it. The best part about it is the fact that it lights up, which is honestly really cool and looks super neat when it’s later in the day and the sun has gone down. All you have to do in order to get it to start moving is just kick off and then push the button and you are good to go. Also, in order to stop it you just push the button and it stops it. It’s so easy and simple and honestly going to be the highlight of my son’s summer. It’s very lightweight and honestly, it is able to be taken with you anywhere or moved around easily. It has a kickstand for when it’s not in use.

It has a top speed of 10 mph, which feels fast enough to be exciting without being too intimidating for younger riders. The scooter is lightweight at around 16 lbs, making it easy for kids to handle and parents to carry when needed. It supports riders up to 154 lbs, so many older kids can use it as well.
The ride is smooth thanks to the solid 6.5-inch tires, and the battery provides up to 5 miles of range on a charge, which is usually enough for neighborhood rides and trips around the park. Parents will appreciate the simple controls and manageable speed.
One downside is the limited range—kids who ride frequently may need to recharge it often. It also isn't designed for rough terrain or steep hills, so it performs best on smooth sidewalks and paved paths.
Overall, the K1MAX offers excellent value for younger riders. It's easy to use, reasonably priced, and provides a fun, safe introduction to electric scooters. I would recommend it for kids ages 8+ who want a reliable first electric scooter.

High quality electric scooter!

He usually gets his big brother's toys and scootets, but I decided to surprise him with his very own electric scooter. I will never forget his face when he saw the box for this 5th Wheel K1max kids electric scooter. He could not wait to ride it. We charged it for him, and soon he was enjoying the fresh air in his own scooter. He is 8 years old, which is perfect since this scooter is for ages 8 and up. He loved the lights that turn on as he rides, the dual breaking system with the back brakes for easy stops, and how smooth it rides. The handles are comfortable and have a good grip. As a parent of four boys, I love the lightweight and foldable design because we have limited space in the trunk. This is great for playdates and park visits. The max speed is 10mph, which is safe for a child that age. However, our son is used to more to more speed from his brother's bike, so I wish this one had a higher max speed, but it is not a deal breaker. The 6.5" tires make riding outside durable, safe, and comfortable. The battery lasts for about 5 miles. While I had never heard of this brand. I am glad we tried it. I believe it is a high quality design, and we are now exploring other products from this brand for our other sons and my husband. As a family of six with four active boys, we are sold on this brand. My son also loved the color, and the height was excellent even though he is on the taller side.
