I've been a big fan of the PeakDesign phone cases, and quite frankly, that was the entry point into the brand. The attention to detail for a first-run product is always questionable, but ever since I had my iPhone 13, I have consistently purchased an everyday case for my phones. The 17 was no exception. I'm really thankful for the high quality but also the fact that I don't have to change out all of my other accessories when simply updating my phone case. That's the thing I dislike the most about alternatives to the PeakDesign ecosystem.

This is an awesome case. I bought an everyday case for my iPhone 15 Pro that lasted the full 2 years with almost no visible wear, and had to get the new case to go with the new phone when I upgraded! The new case is even more polished, and I love how it looks on the new iPhone 17 Pro!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the loop variant of the iphone 17 pro a few months ago after having a good experience with the regular case on my iphone 14 pro. I don't know if they changed manufacturers or if this is an issue with the loop variant specifically, but this case is significantly worse than the previous iteration. 1) the magnets are way weaker, i used to be able to take my case off and easily stick it to any metal surface (I often go caseless when not needing the mount) 2) the mounting is way worse perhaps because of the weaker magnets? my phone chatters like nothing else on even the simplest crack in the road whereas before it would only make this much noise if i was on gravel or going over a big bump, now it is nonstop (same bike). Currently looking at alternative from quadlock which seem to be way more rock solid. I do enjoy the loop, useful for doomscrolling, and the new texture over the woven material is nice and doesn't get as dirty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great iPhone case!

I purchased this about a month ago and and am very happy with it. It is pretty much the same as the case for my iPhone 14 pro max. I find it offers great protection for my phone and looks amazing. The magnet on the back works better than the iPhone case I originally purchased. I did have some initial concerns regarding ordering this case after reading some of the reviews stating that the lip around the edge did not protect the face. I think the edge sticks out enough to protect the face while keeping a streamlined look and feel. I also purchased the bike handle attachment and this case locks securely on to it. I would definitely recommend this case.

Worked as it should and saved my device

I had this case on my previous iPhone. Then, when I purchased my iPhone 17pro, I naturally got another. I absolutely love the way it attaches to the wallet (magnet is quite strong). Then, I dropped my phone onto a concrete curb last week. The glass screen protector cracked and the edge of the PD case scuffed all the way to the metal of the phone. But, when I removed the glass screen protector and then the PD case, the phone was undamaged. The case did it's job. I just got my new one. Thanks, PD.

this is a solid 5 star product - i'm an engineer product designer and i'm telling you it's so good. sure there are others out there that are great but i have not found any with this level of detailed quality. same w the backpacks, insane quality, zippers, seams, tolerances, etc. don't shop anymore buy this and be happy.
