Great, but!

Great case, been using it with the lanyard. I’ve found this configuration to be surprisingly better for daily usage as well as for winter sports, concerts, on the move. Not having to fumble with a pocket is amazing.
A con is the clip doesn’t seem to be as secure to my other clip hardware. The old clip was very snug, this new one is definitely a looser fit. I have my doubts about the longevity of the rubber plug

I love this case for the level of protection and look. It’s really great. I don’t love the cover for the charging port - it’s a little hard to maneuver, but I recognize how much protection an cleanliness it offers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Case, Except…

It’s a great case so far, with a strong magnetic connection and the sleekest accessory attachment point in the biz. BUT…two caveats for consideration: first, the case alone is so slim, if you use a screen protector, there isn’t much protection afforded by the case for its added thickness. You’ll likely go through screen protectors more frequently as a result. Secondly, the port cover, while it certainly seals effectively, its teensy grab tab is difficult to grab, as it tends to tuck itself up into the speaker cutout. Just added frustration when I am away from my wireless charger or my wireless CarPlay refuses to connect.

This is a wonderfully built case that displays its quality design on a minute by minute basis. From a PD mount on the handlebars of an e-bike on the beach to flying down the mountain on an inner tube with my kids, this case has got my phones safety covered! I find myself wanting more and more of their products as the quality is undeniable!

Was supposed to buy the tan clarino phone case but the orange GNAR case caught my eye. I like the extra protection as I’m fond of being outdoors. I also like the texture around the case. I would give 5 stars if not for the orange backing… the color is nice and cool but it’s very slippery. Maybe adding a bit of texture to it would be better. I can imagine if one’s hand were wet, the very smooth backing might cause slippage.
