Great case but room for improvements

I bought this case about two months ago. I like the case and the integration with the car and bike mounts, but there are two things that I believe could be improved. The length, with the thicker top and bottom, is almost too long to fit in some pockets and also the phone compartment on my motorcycle. And the bumpers around the case do not stand off the screen enough to give the best protection. I have had tech21 cases in the past (but they do not make a mounting system) and they have been superior in both these areas and have provided fantastic protection in all the drops my phones have endured.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not perfect, but to each their own

I love PD, so when i got a new iPhone 17 pro I knew what case to get. I am not much of a gold/orange person, but the aesthetics of the black gnar case matched my blue phone quite nicely. The case is a little to slick for me. I find myself in situations where i wish it had more bite and didn't slide off of stuff. That being said, it comes in and out of pockets quickly and easily. At first i was not crazy about the added protection at the port. It was annoying to take out and push back in, but after having it for a few months, that has gotten easier and its probably worth it for drops in the water (or toilet in my case)

So far is working as described, i have dropped a couple of times and indeed is protecting it. My only issue is that the usb-c cover sometimes is hard to open it, maybe it needs that cover a bit larger.

Goated phone case

Bought around 3 months ago and won’t ever change cases. I am a photographer that also works as a welder so I needed something that could hold up to the trades along with being useful for content creation and the gnar case is exactly that. Keeps dust out of the ports and off my phone while providing great protection all around in the harshest conditions. Being able to use the built in mount for pov footage or mounting as a monitor on my camera has also been a game changer. The gnar case is the perfect all around case for great protection while still feeling slim and not weighing down your pockets!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Currently typing this review with my phone equipped with the GNAR case. Really loving how it feels in my hands, the smooth back surface is nice and the protective borders allow for a nicer a reassuring grip.
The buttons are high quality and feel nice to the touch.
I dropped it already several times and I wasn’t worried once.
I feared the added bulk would be a detriment but after months of usage I got used to it.

The Best Phone Case for Wild People

I bought this thinking I would only use it for extreme situations where I want the charging port to be protected, like running in swamps and frolicking on hills in the ice and snow, but it is so light and unobtrusive that I often leave it on for way longer than I need to. I'd be perfectly happy if this were my only phone case, it is nothing like the monstro-tactical cases that provide similar levels of protection. This is a very well thought out and attractive piece of outdoor gear that protects my phone from the elements and from me, the most dangerous element.
I would recommend this to a friend!
