Another great case!

I’m very happy with my Gnar Case. The screen lip provides plenty of protection so not sure what other users were complaining about. The sage looks awesome with the orange iPhone 17 pro!

Volume Buttons Warp Case?

I got the kelp one for my orange 17 Pro Max. The lip feels a bit weird with a screen protector but my main issue is that the case doesn't sit uniformly around the frame. Near the volume buttons, no matter how I try to insert my phone, the perimeter of the case sits further from the edge of the phone in this spot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent case, well designed

I’m very happy with this GNAR case. It offers great protection while staying slim and comfortable to hold. The buttons are easy to press, the grip feels secure, and the design looks really nice. You can tell it’s a high quality product. I would definitely recommend it.

Good for an Out Front mount from PD, but...

I've had this case since launch.
The good: the look and feel of the case is great. And using it on the handlebar mount on my bicycle it feels secure and gives me a great vantage point to see all my cycling data
The bad: if you have a screen protector installed, there appears to be no lip left around the screen for protection. Even if a screen protector weren't installed, I worry that a single fall would result in the phone ejecting itself from the case.
Because of these drawbacks, I only really use the case when cycling.
