I feel that I get an additional boost in water purity by using these filter inserts. The brewing starts using already filtered and purified water so the Braun filter offers additional purity.

I thought the last one I did a review on was the water filters? Filters are filters. I think the only reason why I had coffee grounds in mine was an unexpected over flow once. Otherwise, I think they last longer than the recommended changing intervals. Must be a cash flow thing.
