Life-changing - and safe!

I commute to work on my bike and now I can listen to podcasts and music on the way to and from. I am very anti-headphone on the bike but these are a safe way to listen. Was really surprised at how good the sound quality is on these, too. Good battery life (about as much as advertised) and I can even take hands-free calls with the touch of the left earpiece button in vehicles that don't have a Bluetooth connection. This has been an excellent quality of life improvement!
Love the Mini! It is the perfect fit. Since bone conductivity is the science behind the sound, only when the “speakers” connect to bone can it deliver quality sound. The larger set slipped down on the back of my neck causing the “speakers” to rise above the bones in front of the ears—and well, poor sound. Great range of bass and treble without cranking volume up. Don’t expect the same sound quality as lounger-quality headphones, but the road safety is priceless!
I started with the Shokz OpenMove, and wore them for 5 years before wearing them out. Excellent starting point. Then Got the OpenRun. They took a couple of days to get used to, they feel different than the OpenMove. Once I made peace with the fact that they simply felt a little different, they became more comfortable. I wear them while running, while cleaning, and while making pasta in the kitchen. They have been great!
I've had a pair of Mini's since before the brand name change (2021) which still work great, I just wanted a duplicate pair to have one at home and one in my office. The only time they're not comfortable is when I want to lay horizontal on my side, as that's the only time the weight of my head pushes into the headphone. I also got my folks each a pair of the OpenRun (2022 Xmas). My mom wears hers every day, and on one side/over-ear-piece, the rubber cover is peeling away (June 2024...we think it relates to her sunscreen/sweat while gardening). They still work otherwise.
I’ll never go back to in ear headphones. They are so easy to use and set up. You can hear everything around you and very good for hearing cars while running in the countryside. Would recommend for runners who live in any area and that like to listen to music while running without worrying about headphones falling out.
