Disappointing quality

I have been through 3 Aeropex headphones over the course of the warranty period. On the positive side, the warranty claims were fast and easy. On the negative side, the fact that I had to submit 2 warranty claims within 2 years, and now I have a 3rd pair that won't even turn on after just less than a year of use. First two issues were with loose parts inside the headphones that made them jingle from the vibrations. the most recent issue is with powering on. Your 2 year warranty starts with the initial purchase and does not restart with replacements. So, now after 2 years I'm searching for something else. The feel of these for running and biking is great, and sound is good when they work. My girlfriend also has this set, and has had a warranty claim for a power issue as well, so it isn't just me. Just wish the build quality was better.
The buttons are a bit wonky but I have enormous fingers. Otherwise, they are pretty good. I'd not mind if the band that encircles the back of my head was a bit tighter. Gets caught on my collar quite a bit. Good stuff. Room for improvement, but pretty good.
These things are better than I imagined! Light weight and comfortable enough to wear all day, without running out of battery. The clarity it amazing. I now use these in my car instead of the car phone speaker. And I like that others in the car can't hear the incoming calls. I wish everyone that thinks its OK to be on their speaker phone in airports would buy a set of these!
Comfortable. Not quite loud enough for me. I have a small head and bought the mini version and it’s still pretty big so I have to clip the back up higher in order to hear well enough. I love how they don’t go inside my ears tho. So much more comfortable than my AirPods.
Coming from a relatively cheap part of wired earbuds to these, it was incredible how comfortable these were and with high quality audio! After complaining that my latest set of earbuds was dying again (likely from moisture exposure from sweat and running in the rain), my boyfriend got me a pair of Shokz. I tried the Titanium ones first, but those were too big so got the Openrun minis. I love them!
I've been running with various forms of earbuds the past five years and have accepted the itchiness on hot days / having to take them on and off during road sections of runs to hear cars. These eliminate both! I've done several longer runs at about -3 C in the past few weeks and haven't noticed them act up from the distance, sweat or cold. I don't usually keep headphones on after running, but these ones I don't mind to leave them on.
A perk I didn't expect from these, was that in the same way you can hear a car coming up, you can talk with people (or hear people warning you about the surface ahead) without needing to take them off or even pause your music.
I wouldn't be surprised if my boyfriend ends up buying himself a pair soon too!
I’ve had both the small and normal version and the small is perfect. Love these. The sound is decent, nothing amazing but you need in ear to be stellar
I don’t run or bike with earphones. I live in urban areas and I don’t feel safe losing situational awareness (cars, people, random animals, etc). I was worried, even with these, that I would get too into the music and zone out. They work great! The sound of an oncoming car is loud enough to bring my attention into my environment. They also really stay put. The sound quality is great! Honestly, it isn’t quite as satisfying as having my earbuds jammed deeply into my ear blasting whatever music I am currently feeling but that was sort of the point of this purchase. It’s really, really good though! A totally great investment.
