I love my OpenRuns. My third set of Aftershockz/shocks. The first set I lost, the second set broke when in my luggage. (Hint: get a better case of you plan on packing this away) I’ve now found the first set but it charge and I didn’t like the multi button on the ear; too sensitive and the openrun fixed this issue. Perfect for background music or podcasts when you want to still be able to have contact with the outside world. Pop in earplugs, and now the outside world is muted and you can hear what you were watching louder; just don’t expect hifi sound with earplugs. Certainly great for watching a movie on your ipad/iPhone and laying on your side.
I don’t leave home without them. Exteeeeemly comfortable. I’m ditching my AirPods as they kinda suck. If you want excellent sound quality then go for a decent over ear product.
For everyday use at the gym, beach, running or snoozing, these are amazing.
There are things I like and things I don't. I got the mini and it seems to fit fine but gets uncomfortable behind my ears after I wear them for awhile. I like not having ear buds in my ears but it doesn't cancel noise like I hoped and when I turn the volume up too high it vibrates my head.
They are great, this is the first time that I’ve had something to work perfectly. I am glad that I invested in this item, and we both are doing great. Thanks
This is my third pair. I love these headphones. They make listening and life more functional. I am used to wearing them and they are lightweight but at the end of the day it feels good to get them off just because they squeeze a little. I love that they stay in place so well and always sounds good and that I can hear others around me
I bought these to listen to podcasts on a walk so as not to get hit by a bus because I couldn’t hear it. They work great. Sometimes I need to unpair and re-pair it before getting started but the sound is clear. Volume on the headpiece is easy to adjust without removing it and the headpiece is very light weight. Can barely feel it when I have it one. Only downside is the charger doesn’t come with an adapter to use a regular outlet; just for a USB port. But with all the old tech around, my old phone charger adapter works on this.
I love this headset! The open ear design gives so much in comfort and flexibility and acts as an extra audio channel for my life.
Water resistance means that I don't have to worry about rain and I can and do even wear them into the shower.
Battery life and charging is excellent.
Mini size means I can listen lying down without pressure on the back of my ears.
I've also gifted several opencomm and openrun headsets, and have been told they were some of the best gifts my people have ever received.
Areas for improvement: I wish the openrun had the big control buttons like the opencomm, and the interface beep is much too loud when wearing earplugs - would be nice to configure that. Can also be tricky to triple-click to restart a track on the openrun, whereas it works great on the opencomm.
Wish you could also use them for gaming. Won't connect unless use gaming app on phone which drains the battery of phone.
They are great for listening to music and calls and still hear the world around you. Great for walking, working around house, etc. Pairs with bluetooth quickly. Very comfortable.
