Automatic update ruined listening experience

My husband bought me the headphones for swimming. They were amazing. I could turn the volume super low and listen at bed time or turn them up higher when it was noisy. Then an automatic update installed itself without asking permission and now the lowest volume setting is so loud hurts my ears and the louder levels don't seem like they have a good of sound quality as previously. I have to hold the headphones to my ear to really understand what I'm listening to is there is background noise and it's still so loud it hurts my earn m ears. The headphones are also a much larger fit than my old aftershokz and my husband bought the size recommended for my head. I've tried doing a factory reset but the head set won't even recognize the command.

Always loved my Shokz, but he newest ones with the upgraded charging method and level of battery upon start are even better.. The fit around the ears comfort has improved as well. Love Them!

This is The third pair of shocks that I have purchased. I generally wear them out from overuse! I generally wear them out from overuse! The sound quality and comfort has improved dramatically since the first pair that I bought.

i bought them for my wife who goes walking everyday and she is totally impressed with them. She can enjoy her music and yet still be aware of the traffic on the road. Great investment and sound quality superb!

Good but…

I decided to use this to replace my Shokz openfit. It was a great design but giving me ear irritation. So I decided to try the open run. It is nice that I do not have a case to carry around however it is giving me the same ear irritation. I have a bone conduction earbud with the same design and a much cheaper price and does not give me ear irritation. I have another Shokz device which I cannot use when running. Yes it has great feature but I cannot use it giving it a one star
