Good quality headphones but not fitting to my needs

I wanted to love these and I do like them but ultimately they fell flat for my use case. I work in a factory environment where there is lots of noise and I was hoping that these would allow me to listen to music/audio without compromising on safety. In this respect they excelled. However, the amount of noise that was coming from my environment nullified their utility as I was listening to background noise and the music at the same time to the point that I could not enjoy the music. I assume I could just put ear plugs in to block the noise, but at that point I might as well have ear buds.
I like the product and wish it worked for me. There are certainly use cases out there that are perfect for this product but for my particular use case sadly, it did not work out.

Love these headphone! So glad I can now run with peace of mind. I can hear the music really well and still hear my surroundings. I tend to run in the middle of of the night, so even more important for me to hear what is going on around me.

I loved my mini open run Shokz. The mini fit was perfect and the sound quality was amazing. They were perfect on a 10 mile run. I wore them twice on training runs.
Unfortunately they fell out of my shorts pocket at a Labor Day 5k. I was going to repurchase prior to a 1/2 marathon but locally minis were not available. I will definitely reorder again. I keep hoping that someone will return them to the race director.

We love shokz, but every pair we have bought drops calls a few minutes in to the conversation and you have to manually reconnect. Still love them tho. But come on shokz, get on that please.

They are lighter and more comfortable than my original pair, but how absurd that the charger is not a standard usb. That means I have to remember to take the cord everywhere. From home to work, in the car, travel etc. extremely inconvenient and not thoughtful at all!
