I bought a pair of these for my wife as she doesn't like things sticking in her ears as they are bothersome. She attends virtual meetings and normally kept the volume low so she wouldn't be interrupting what I was doing. I tried them on and fell in love with them. I ended up buying a pair for myself and subsequently three more for Christmas presents. When I showed them to my daughter, she bought four more for presents. Now many of my friends have purchased them after I showed them off to them.
I like how thy feel on my ears. I listen to audio books while I take my dogs for a walk and when I am working on projects. I find them very comfortable and easy to use.
I love my Shokz Open Run headphones. They're lightweight, comfortable, a great buy for the money and allow me to wear them while listening to music, streaming something or taking a phone call, all while leaving my ears clear to hear what's going on around me.
These are extremely comfortable headphones with great sound. I needed the "mini" size as my head is small which can be hard to find. The fit is perfect and I like how the unique shape secures the headphone over my ears. I can wear a hat when skiing and the headphones stay in place. I love how I can hear great sound with the "open-ear bone conducted transfer" headphones but also hear external sounds at the same time that will alert me to danger.
Give them to my son who has a hearing problem. He loves them and feels safer running now because he can hear bikes coming while running on the trail he trains on.
Pros; Works quite well within its inherent design limitations. Very Good sound quality. Light and comfortable. Simple to use. Works fantastic with cell phone GPS. Battery life is good. Cons; ***Size/fit matters…try before you buy.*** Doesn’t play well with winter stocking hats or ear headbands. Not for ultra hi fidelity/quality listening if that’s highest on your expectations. Cost $$$
