I was trying to pick her ear piece that would not pick up background noise well these picks up background noise and a lot of times I can be talking and it goes back to my phone so I don't know if I was spend that kind of money on another pair of not but if you're looking for something for videos music podcast and stuff like that they're great I have mine because I drive trucks everyday and I needed a good headset that's not it

Second pair, love them

Bought this cause I lost my original but I’m glad I did. The usb-c charging is much more convenient, and the mini size fits better than my last one (also mini size) I use these because I lost my eardrum on one side but I also like to have an open ear (for work) so it’s safer than having one earbud in my good ear

Great in the shop and out with people, not for pillows

I work at a bike shop and was looking for a pair of open ear headphones to stay in the loop but still listen to my music. Shokz OpenRun is perfect for this. The volume is capable of overcoming most noise, unless there is a lot of louf ambient noise, like a crowded restaurant or a compressor running. But this is the nature of open ear headphones. Battery is great and easily gets me through 7 to 8 hour days without pauses at a comfortable volume. Even goes further after work when I take a walk outside. You can hear everything around you, which is great for being aware. Bass is lost for the most part, but is there enough for music in addition to the world around you. Everything else is good. You shouldnt get these headphones to just listen to music. They are just to add a soundtrack to daily life. And for that, top notch! Buttons are intuitive, and being waterproof is great for confidence using them anywhere. One drawback - if you try to lie your head back on a pillow or headrest, the headband gets pushed forward and moves the headphones out of position.
