These headphones don’t stand out as being “great”. The fit (mini) is pretty good but the sound quality is just ok. It’s on the lower end for reproducing sound and the volume level could be better. At 1/2 volume it’s pretty low and difficult to hear over surround noise. In addition to a USB micro/mini/C/A, lighting cable, or wireless charging, a proprietary usb charging cable specific to SHOKZ has to be used. From a price/quality standpoint, there are many other options to consider.
Really like my OpenRuns in where situational awareness is important. Hearing cars or other things around me or being able to carry on a conversation while listening to music is way easier than with earbuds.
the magnetic charger is genuinely super cool! also cool: so i have adhd and i like to listen to music and podcasts and sometimes i like to listen to both at the same time, which can be hard! i also kind of have tiny ear canals so earbuds are never comfortable for me. shokz is my answer to all of that- and it's actually also super good for taking work calls!
I really like the pro runs that i have, but the neck loop is really big. It gets caught in my hair and on my collars. But the sound is great, i work with horses and i need to hear whats going on around me. These are the best headphones I've had. I think i need the minis for a better fit.
