Love for Running!

I have the mini and I love! So easy to use and comfortable. Only issue I have is that my ponytail sometimes knocks them out of place when running. But other than that-no complaints.

My fourth pair

This is my second pair and I've purchased two for my wife. They really do work excellently. If you are working out and sweat, get the more water resistant ones. I have been drenched in sweat and not had any issues. The open eat design is comfortable and allows me to hear what is going on around me. The sound is great and you almost forget they are on. I use an Android phone and have never had any issues. Great quality and light weight. I recommend this product.

Open Run Mini isn't so mini

I bought the OpenRun Mini and I do not like how much they extend behind my head. When leaning back in the car or on a pillow, the ear piece moves forward and away from the position where they should sit. Recommend the back band be made adjustable.

Second Pair that will not charge. Model 5803

I had a pair of these that lasted a bout 9-12 months before they simply would not charge no matter what I tried. Decided to give them another try and have owned the pair I have now since Christmas 2022 (about 4 months). Same problem. They will not charge. I thought the pair before might have been faulty but looks like it may be an inherent problem with the device.

We’ve tried other brands on/off-line and never had the satisfaction of sound quality, nor of ease of use, and/or overall quality.
We started with Treks, then AfterShokz, and now Shokz, as the manufacturer updated its corporate structure and manufacturing technology.

NOT sweatproof

These are not sweatproof, as claimed. I have had two of these units fail at the one year mark, following moderate 2-3 day per week use, for running, cycling, rowing. Never submerged, never used in vicinity of saltwater. Both units have failed by failure of the on/off/+vol button. I both instances, on opening the device, there is severe internal corrosion of that button. The adjacent -vol button is not visibly affected. I've concluded that there must be a weak spot in the case that allows sweat to invade around that button. I am a relatively "heavy sweater", so my experience may be at one end of the range. Nonetheless, two units failed each at about the same time (1yr), and each by the same mechanism. These are not sweatproof, as the description claims. I would post a photo of the postmortem, but can't see an option for posting images. Prior to failure, they worked as advertised.
