Great headphones! worth the money

These headphones are fantastic - providing excellent sound quality while allowing you to maintain situational awareness while out and about. The design keeps the "noise" out of your ear - but you still hear it crystal clear! I chose this pair because the controls are buttons which are much more moisture "friendly" than the touch sensors on the other styles. The magnetic charger is also moisture "friendly" allowing me to run in the rain or sweat freely! I just wipe them off after a run and immediately charge them if needed. (No need to wait for them to fully dry before charging) The battery life is awesome, and the headphones let you know the battery status when turning them on. On my previous pair- when the battery status hit medium - I got about 30-minutes of operation time before they died. I haven't gotten to that point on this pair (I am on my 4th hour of operation time-and still have a full charge) but am assuming it will be similar.
I have purchased Shokz headphones before and was excited about replacing my 2019 headset with the newer model, but was very disappointed in the sound quality of the new ones. If I am just using them for listen to music, they are great, but using them for answering and calling people they were very poorly functional. The sound was horrible. Trying to find the button to answer a call was frustrating.
I like how these don't have to go into my ears. The sound is good and easy to control with my phone—you can also adjust with volume on the Shokz. I wish the strap behind my head was adjustable to fit me better. I thought it was a little tricky to connect—every time I use them, I have to go in through my settings to reconnect. There might be an easier way that I haven't discovered. It would also be nice if the buttons were a different color than the body of the unit so I could see them without putting on my reading glasses; that makes them a little less user friendly if you're over the age of 40 and need readers.
They are too big around the back of my head. I wish they were more snug so I can put them under my hair, or a beanie hat, or wear them while lying down to exercise or stretch. They easily get out of position which compromises the sound quality.
I had been using the Shokz OpenMove and loved them for running. I wanted to try the more expensive OpenRun, and the sound quality is definitely better. The downside for me is the usability. Maybe I got used to the OpenMoves, but the OpenRun controls are harder to use while I'm running. They don't have the same tactile feel like the OpenMove.
Great headphones, wear them all day to listen to music and take calls. They do not distract or prevent me from social interaction while at work or home. You will not get the deep base, but sound quality is great.
Love these. I have owned multiple pairs and they have little improvements as a get another pair. I now have a pair at work, home and in my truck for my outdoor adventures. They are light and the best part is I can hear my surroundings!
