Pretty darn good - even for work
on April 9, 2022

These headphones are good - glad I bought them at the recommendation of a friend. In full disclosure, I don't really use them for their intended purpose (running). I needed to replace my headset for video conferences at work and wanted something small/discreet, lightweight, and with a decent battery life...these fit the bill.
Pros:
- battery life - I'm on MS Teams calls all day long (6-7 hours/day) and these can make it through on a fresh charge. If I do have to charge during the day, they top up pretty quickly (seems to be less than 30 minutes for a full charge)
- very lightweight and comfortable to wear*
- the mic seems to work well according to my coworkers & clients
- discreet - small enough to be barely noticeable on video calls
- neat little feature is the voice that tells you "charge me" when the battery gets very low (but it can startle you the first time the voice randomly speaks to you without prompting)
- relatively easy Bluetooth pairing** and controls
Cons:
- *comfortable...to a point, that is. Not sure that they were intended for my extended usage but they do feel like they're pinching right in front of your ear after several hours. I end up feeling a fatigue similar to clenching your jaw too hard or for too long and wonder if that's the fit or a side effect of the bone conduction
- **only pairs with one device at a time so you have to go through full pairing process again if, for example, you want to switch from your laptop to your phone
- might be unique to my use case but these get in the way of using the headrest on my office chair. The loop between earpieces lays right where your head meets the headrest...can be pushed down but that moves the earpieces and reduces sound quality since it's not "bone conducting" properly (if that makes sense)
- sound quality is "meh" to me (I typically use Pixel Buds II with my phone which has much better bass & depth of sound). That being said, my wife (AirPods user) tried these out and thought the sound quality was pretty good...
Overall, happy with my purchase and they make my workday more comfortable. 4 out of 5 stars, would buy again. Maybe one day I'll actually use them for running!

I didn't even know that

I didn't even know that I wanted headphones until my husband got these for me to run in. I LOVE them! Not only do I wear them to run but I also wear them around the house while doing housework or talking on the phone. I wish I had gotten them sooner.

I love my cristal clear Shokz.
I work out in the field. Fixing cell sites. This gives me the ability to not miss a call and always to be aware of my surroundings. While listening to cristal clear music. Buy it you won't regret it

If you can consider spending the extra money for the open run. The difference is worth the difference.

The open run pro was a considerable improvement over the titanium. It is considerably more comfortable and the sound quality is much better. I use it to listen to talking books provided by the library of congress for people with visual disabilities. I recently had the opportunity to do a warranty replacement of my titanium headset. The customer service people were wonderful and I have received the replacement and will use it as a back up to the open run pro. I find the open run to be considerably better than the replacement.

Love my headphones. When they just stopped working 8 months after purchase, aftershokz replacement was easy.

Comfortable and easy to use!

I've been using my OpenRun Shokz for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with their functionality and performance. The setup with my iPhone was quick and easy. The design of the button controls isn't perfect, but they are easy enough to manipulate during workouts. I was worried the over-ear shape might be uncomfortable, but they have been fine—even while wearing glasses. Sound quality is good, and most importantly, I can still hear ambient sounds and approaching cars while I am walking and biking. Definitely recommend!

Love them! Wanted something that wasn’t in my ear all day and these are wonderful. The only thing I would change is to make it adjustable (or have sizes).
