Great for parents

I love these. I have bought a pair for each of my immediate family. They are great for my parents who have normal hearing loss. I also love them for running because I can hear the traffic.

I love the idea of the "open ear" concept! You can DEFINITELY hear what is going on around you. That feature alone, is worth buying a set.
But, other people around you CAN HEAR what you are listening to. Whether it be music or a phone call, they can hear!!! If you turn the volume down, you can eliminate this issue. I have bad hearing damage, so I tend to have my headphones/earbuds turned up pretty loud. My wife sitting in the passenger seat can hear my phone calls.
Advertisements from manufacturer is misleading. Again, if you turn the volume down, nobody else can hear what you are listening to. Manufacturer claims that "NO, THEY CANNOT HEAR."

Could see them being useful for running and being aware of your surroundings… however the sound is horrible. Even at max volume level they are very weak.

These headphones are over-the-top excellent! I tried Apple earbuds and Jabra, both uncomfortable, then a friend told me about Shokz. They are comfortable for hours, and I like being able to hear what is going on around me. Excellent sound. Grateful for the mini size, and I love the blue. What more can I say? Classy looking, good quality.
