This set is to replace the last set that developed a buzzing on one side, just after the warrantly expired. For this price they should last longer. Otherwise I love them for running, talking to friends. I don't like that they need a dedicated charger. It is sometimes hard to forward to the next song.
Just began using them. I love the not-in-your-ear sounds, so clear and distinct! I'll wear them indoors; when I'm outside, walking, hiking, birding, etc...I want to HEAR the wind, the birds, bees, slugs and owls and coyotes. I'll try them for driving; I bet they'll be better listening than from the 17 yr. old noisy car interior...though the radio is good!
I don't like having a piece of headphones introduced in each of my ears. My encounter with SHOKZ was quite timely. Now I can listen to my music and answer my calls while I'm driving in a very confortable way without having to feel a strange object in my ears.
I have had a pair of the Aeropex (precursor to the openrun) since shortly after they were released several years ago and they are still going strong! After years and hundreds of miles the only issue I have noticed is a slight discoloration on the left ear piece. These headphones have been very stable for me from doing sprint workouts to a 50k whereas some other bluetooth heaphones can have an annoying bounce.
