Perfect for Trail Runs

I have always struggled with running headphones. They either fall out, get water damage, or have poor sound quality. Additionally, as 99% of my runs are on trails, I have to be on the lookout for cyclists and wildlife. The OpenRun are the perfect solution. They don't bounce at all, have good sound quality (for being open ear), and the microphone during calls is fantastic.
The only slight annoyance I have is that the play/pause button is difficult to double tap when I want to skip songs or fast forward through podcast ads. I don't consider this an actual issue, as it still beats pulling my phone out of my vest.
I will post another review as I continue to use them, but for now I love them.
I finally can ditch the wires AND not worry about the ear piece falling out as I have seen all too often. I can’t comment on battery life yet. Oh- I can use these while wearing a bicycle helmet.
Wish they didn't need a proprietary charger, but I'll survive. USB C like my old lesser model would be preferred, but I'm guessing the new style is to meet waterproof requirements? Would love to be able to turn them off with increases volume simultaneously. Despite the above, I love 'em.
I had resisted Bluetooth headphones until now. Who needs one more thing to charge? But a running buddy made me try his, and I was impressed immediately. Now I use them not just for running, but also for doing tasks, remote meetings, etc. I've bought them as gifts for my wife and a couple running friends as well. I wear glasses and a hat on most runs, and sometimes the tops of my ears feel too busy, but it all works out. Occasionally, I'll try to recline while wearing them, and that doesn't work as well as I could wish, but overall, I'm a fan.
I love these things. I had a pair of Shokz headphones that finally needed to be replaced (after ~7 years) so I bought these. They are so much better than my ole pair, which I loved. If you are reading this review then you are considering buying them. I suggest you do it.
The button on the side to pause, skip, go back only works half the time in an android. For androids and iPhones, the mute function on your phone does NOT mute your mic in the headphones. Music can be heard from across the room. Received a replacement and have the exact same issues. Overall very expensive for it not functioning well.
