Not quite conductive sound through bone.

I returned them. After learning about bone conduction and how sound travels, I found out that all I ordered were speakers that you place close to your ear. Meaning I heard the sound with my ears, not inside my head as it is supposed to. Sound was auditive not conductive through the bone.

Stay aware of your surroundings

I wish it were easier to switch between devices without having to turn off and pair or turn off Bluetooth on the device. Very comfortable and long lasting battery. I highly recommended them to another runner the other day when I came across a rattlesnake. Great to hear things out in the wild.

OpenRun vs. OpenRun Pro
on September 20, 2022

We have both types. My wife has unusual earing loss. Instead of high frequency loss, hers is low frequency loss. The OpenRun Pro works better for her. I have some high frequency loss and the OpenRun works best for me. The Pro will give you a tickle in front of the ears if you have a LOT of bass and the volume high. It's not unpleasant but it is distracting. The OpenRun will also but much less so. We now have three: 2 OpenRun and 1 OpenRun Pro. (We bought four but the new puppy chewed one and it is quite dead. Interestingly my wife also has significant hearing loss in the left ear and in most headphones and earphones she still can't hear well in that ear. When she put on the Shokz bone conduction headset in a sports store kiosk, she was amazed she could hear equally well in BOTH ears. That sold us right there. I can't recommend them highly enough!
BTW, if you want booming bass use plug earphones or full cover headset... and be ready for significant hearing loss by the time you are forty. I used to always have high-end stereos but it's all wasted on me now. I'm over 60 now and my most frequent response to a question is, "What?". Save your hearing as long as you can. Bad hearing affects everything, everyday.
