Great humidifier

I really needed a good humidifier for my room. After careful review, I bought this humidifier. It was a great price and I really like how it’s not very loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

25 Pint Works Good Until They Don't

This is my third 25 pint dehumidifier in four years, actually the first two were 22 pint models but everything is identical with all three. I really like the 3 speed fan with the variable Smart Dry speed. I usually set mine at 50% humidity to maintain the inside of our RV while it is in storage. The bucket can fill in as little as 5 days or not fill for two weeks. It all depends on what our Florida weather is doing. But it does keep the humidity under control in our approximate 200 square feet. The first one had a control panel failure. The second one worked fine but the compressor ran too hot and would trip the over-temperature protection every couple of hours and shut down. It wouldn't run again until I turned it back on. The third one has been running fine for a couple of weeks now and hopefully will continue to be trouble free. I deducted a star for the previous failures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and efficient with little hassle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is very quiet. It let's you know with an alarm when its is full, and it is easy to move around. Being lightweight and having wheels let's me easily adjust placement . The water tray pulls out easily, and the controls are easy and clear to use . The humidity level was set at 55, and it turned itself off to adjust. Good little unit . I will be moving it to my basement for continous use with a hose.

Excellent Dehumidifier

I can’t believe how well it works and what a difference it makes. It’s also very easy to use. It’s a breeze to clean. I love that it has wheels, making it easy to move to different rooms. The noise level when it’s running is reasonable and not annoying. It’s a great portable dehumidifier.

Loud but works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t realize how much I needed a dehumidifier in my family room it has made a huge difference.
I have a GE dehumidifier in my basement which of course is definitely needed in the hot humid NY spring/summer and even fall. But my family room always felt hot and muggy even with the AC on that room was just thick!
I got this GE Dehumidifier and set it up which was pretty fast except the wheels took a bit to stay in. I plugged it in and set it to Smart mode and it did its job.
But it’s loud for a smaller dehumidifier it has some sound to it that’s not terrible but it’s not silent at all.
I can’t complain though because with in a few hours the tank was already filling up and the room felt so much cooler.
After 24 hours it was able to regulate the humidity and only need to kick on when there was a change. I really do enjoy the smart mode and how easy this is to operate and clear the buttons are and screen is. The tank is a good size and doesn’t weigh a ton when you have to dump it. It’s simple to open it up and get the handle and dump and install right back. I am so happy this dehumidifier has made my family room a happy room again for the summer.

Compact Quiet and Powerful!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier is a workhorse! I was in need of a moisture control solution for my home gym which always had a damp smell in the air. After a few days of running this amazing appliance the damp smell is completely gone! This GE dehumidifier is super easy to use due to the intelligent smart dry technology. It lets me know when it’s time to empty the water bucket. I also love the LED humidity level display and customizable comfort controls. It’s also very easy to move thanks to the pocket handles and wheels. I’m very happy with the GE 25 Pint Portable Dehumidifier with Smart Dry model # ADHE25BWF. I would highly recommend this model to anyone in the market for a residential dehumidifier!

Hard to work

We'd like to assist you with getting started with your dehumidifier and installing the casters. The casters for this model are shipped inside of the bucket and taped to the inside of the bucket lid.
