Multi Use Dimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light switch is multi use. It can be used with and without the Internet. I do believe that the packaging could be clearer that it is optional to have an Internet wire if you are not interested in that. Which is why I rated it as such. On install, the directions are very forward which is good. I like that they placed colored labels for the wires to avoid confusion or mishaps. The material the switch is made of doesn't feel cheap, but of decent materials. It can hold up to everyday wear and use. I don't believe however this product is for everyone and every home. Smart homes can be interfered with so for me, I would have concerns of going fully into a smart home install. I do again believe there is someone out there that would appreciate the ease that smart devices provide with in app remote access. There is a 2 year warranty which is nice! It works with Alexa and Google Home so it is customized for whichever type of tech you use.

A good smart switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this recently just to test it out how it works. It a great innovation to the smart switch industry.the app is very user friendly and easy to operate.The quality also look fine and well as the build quality.
The only thing i dont like is the installation part you need to have good understanding of wires in order to install this.

Great replacement for WEMO

I bought these as replacements for WEMO dimmer switches which are essentially not going to work after Jan 30, 2026. A lot of experts recommended the Lutron Caseta or Diva dimmer switches but those are 3X the price, require a HUB and, depending on the model you get, aren't compatible with Matter. These GE Cync dimmer switches are perfect replacements for the WEMO. Same installation process and setup with the Sync app was easy (or you can configure directly in Alexa, Google, or Apple using the Matter QR code). I can setup the exact same routines using the Cync app. Hopefully the Matter compatibility will give these a longer life span. I'm looking forward to the refreshed line of regular switches with Matter compatibility coming in early 2026 so I can continue the WEMO replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!
