It's ok but the app sucks

I love the unit and would like to purchase another one but the subscription is expensive and I haven't been able to make much use of it because it does not operate on 5g which is the more accessible network. Not happy with the app.

I received this as a gift from my kiddos, last Mother’s Day. My favorite thing is my grandkids excited to pick strawberries and tomatoes and pop them in their mouths.

Beautiful living art

I love my Gardyn growing system. It's incredibly easy to grow everything I need for fresh, healthy salads s few times a week. I have about 5 types of lettuce, some herbs, and catnip growing. My family of 3 has big salads at least 3 times a week. All you have to do is keep the water tank full and clean and trim the plants. I have it in my family room and it's beautiful. When the plants grow in it becomes a really pretty piece of live art. As long as you are picking the leaves as they mature, it always looks green and bright and beautiful. It's perfect for busy people who don't have time to slave away in a garden but still want to eat fresh food. I was a bit surprised by the monthly membership fee, be prepared for that. It comes with monthly credits for free plants and supplies though, which is a plus. If you figure that I have 3 salads a week for the family, plus fresh herbs, I'm saving about $70 a month on food so it helps even out the fees.

Would leave negative stars if i could

I’ve owned my Gardyn Home Kit for over a year, and despite following directions and repeatedly working with support, I’ve never had a single successful harvest . Instead of a “smart, easy indoor garden,” I’m stuck with a giant, blinding lamp taking up space in my apartment .
When I finally begged for a refund, I suddenly started having constant connectivity issues that made the whole experience even more stressful and triggering. Whether intentional or not, it felt like retaliation rather than support, and it completely destroyed my trust in this company.
