Fun hobby yet easy

I received the Gardyn as a gift from my adult boys. I had no idea what it was and was very skeptical. I live in a townhouse with no yard for outdoor gardening. Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with what I can grow. I love experimenting with new plants and love harvesting a bunch of lettuce all at once for a great salad.

I purchased the studio model a couple of months ago and have since purchased two more units. My family now has high quality vegetables to cook, eat and juice. Great product for those who truly care about where their food comes from and its quality.

This Gardyn I have in my home office and get to snack on the yummy greens during my work day. I cannot count the numbers of salads and additives to dinners we have had since we got this too.

Bought it on a whim but now I am in love with gardening and growing my own plants for food. Even my daughter enjoys helping me pick out what to grow for food. I have a new hobby because of my system. Highly recommend!

Old man, New skills, Loving it!

I purchased the Gardyn studio just a month ago and am enjoying it very much! My wife recently was admitted to a memory care facility and I needed some new hobbies. So I got a dog and purchased this studio. The support is good but sometimes difficult to access but within days I always get the help I need. I find it very satisfying watching the first sprouts grow and anticipating the blooms to come. I am a total amateur at growing and caring for plants but find this doable. I am also a 77 year old male learning new skills that is also very satisfying.
Two of my plants did not sprout but the company replaced them at no charge. There is an AI assistant who monitors the plants 24 7 via a camera attached to the ultraviolet lamp. You are given tasks to do on a periodic basis such as adding plant food to the water and a monthly cleaning of the waytank. You are given explicit instructions for each task. You can ask the AI master gardener questions which are very helpful unless it doesn’t understand the question. This is NOT a cheap hobby. For me one of the added expenses was needing to purchase a humidifier for the plants as I live in a desert climate with the humidity often getting into the low 40’d or below. AI alerted me to the fact that the humidity was too low thus I purchased the humidifier. I can monitor all of this on my phone and I love it. There are hundreds of plants to choose from but for me right now I am focusing more on the flowers for the beauty and smells of having indoor plants. In the future I will change out and explore other plants as I become more adept at caring for these plants. All in all I am very pleased with the results and my learning new skills that are not difficult.
