Quick and easy with digital access

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is quick and easy to use for sketches, notes, and reading. The size and weight are great in a laptop bag for taking along for work or personal. Highly recommend moving to digital notes for anywhere access versus a paper notebook that's easy to forget.

Multi purpose notebook!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really sorry njoying the kindle scribe. It feels exactly like pen of paper, which is why I use it so much. I am a notebook / list person and to have everything organized by notebooks is super helpful to stay organized. I can use it for a personal use like planning out my meals and creating grocery lists. I can upload screenshots from Instagram or take notes from recipes from cookbooks in my library or search the Internet and mark these all up to take note of what ingredients I have vs what I need to get.
I also like how the screen is bigger than my phone and can use it as a cookbook in the kitchen.
I can also use it for work and take notes from meetings and export it to my computer.
Also, I can use it to read books on my Kindle, however without a light it doesn’t work well at night in dim light.

Overall, the Kindle scribe provides an excellent display, smooth navigation, simple setup, thoughtful design, in a comfortable reading and writing experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been extremely impressed with the Amazon Kindle scribe. The setup process was quick and straight bored and I was Reading and taking notes within a few minutes. The navigation is intuitive and responsive, making it easy to switch between books, notebooks, and settings without frustration. The display is outstanding. The large, crisp, glare free screen is comfortable to Read on for long periods whether indoors or outside in a bright sunlight. The writing experience also feels natural making it perfect for highlighting passages or jotting down notes. The sounds are appropriate and polished. One of my favorite aspects is the comfort. This device feels well balanced in the hand, and the lightweight design makes extended reading sessions enjoyable.

Paper-like writing, real productivity, zero screen addiction, just wish it played nicer with OneNote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’ve found a use for it. I’m not one for reading books on a tablet, but my wife has liked it. I’ve found the features about the scribe nice. Lightweight and paper like writing feel. Ability to take notes, create to-do lists, and draw out designs without burning up the eraser end of a pencil has been a delightful experience. The connectivity piece is nice, with the capability to export out all of the notes and hand written items to a pdf or OneNote. I wish it had the ability to utilize OneNote and other common apps in a two way fashion, such that I could notate on PowerPoints or One note notebooks etc.
One feature I thought would be a drawback was no backlight display . But it’s actually one of the better things I like about this. Battery last forever and there isn’t a dedicated attention draw to it, unlike phones and other tablets. Once done, you put away and aren’t tempted to continue putzing around, like brightly lit color displays.

Great multi-use device
on July 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m excited to use the Amazon Kindle Scribe for reading and note taking! I hate having to use a different device for everything so I was excited to try this out knowing all the different things I could use it for. I don’t know a lot on ‘how’ to use it yet but am anxious to learn. Not matter how hard I try to go digital, I am a pen and paper kind of girl so I love that this device is kind of mixing both mediums. I’m a teacher and can’t wait to try it out in our upcoming back to school trainings!

Good for reading, skip the rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a physical book reader I was skeptical about the kindle. However, the ability to explore titles, connection with Goodreads, and look & feel of the experience make me more likely to consider it. The reading functionality and games (have played a lot of sudoku) are great experiences. I am excited to have this while I travel.
The additional features like notebook and file import are quite poor. I had to restart the device to get a file to import. I couldn’t see myself being able to accomplish much in a file within the kindle. It is a clunky experience, not obvious how to edit, and little value added to the document. I could see the most benefit from red lining a document but when you write it throws the entire page off and there’s no color option to write with.
Additionally, while I found reading and games to be fine when you’re in a book as soon as you try to navigate back to the Home Screen or between different pages it is not very seamless and not intuitive how to explore around. Scrolling the home page is not very smooth either.
Finally, I wouldn’t buy this product without the backlight. The backlight seems like a necessary feature to get the most value out of the product.
Overall, this was fine for what it is meant for (reading) but wouldn’t recommend it for any features beyond that.

A library on the go
on June 29, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never owned a tablet like this, with a specific unique purpose. This is for readers on the go who want a whole library at their disposal, without having to carry around a load. Extremely light weight, definitely as thing as a pencil as they described, & it’s simple ui makes it lovely to navigate. The pencil makes it feel as though you are writing & sketching on actual paper, the display is big & clear even without a front light which also makes it less eye straining & allows the battery to function for very long periods of time. A device for an expert reader indeed, very aesthetic as well. Also surprised at how good the AI is.

The Kindle scribe is a great e-reader and digital notebook in one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Kindle Scribe for a couple of weeks now and can tell you this device is an amazing investment. The large, anti glare screen is perfect for reading and taking notes.
I specifically love that the Premium Pen attaches magnetically to the side, never needs charging and is always ready to use. Even my 5 year old loves using it to draw and doodle, making it a fun, mess free creative tool without wasting papers.
The battery lasts for a long time, I haven't had to charge it since we got it. I only wish it comes in more colors. Overall, I recommend Kindle Scribe for anyone looking for great e reader and digital notebook in one place.
