Worst purchase ever.

I would give more stars, but they rejected my last negative review.
I do not like the case as the back scratches very easily! My mag safe charger has significantly scratched the clear back. It makes my phone look bad.
Cool case if you’re super careful with your iPhone!
But if you’re that careful. You probably don’t need a defender case in the first place.

I’m still waiting on my replacement. One without a clear back.

I bought this case not realizing that it was a new design of the original defender. I have had the otterbox defender on nearly every iPhone i have ever had and have really enjoyed them. This however being only 2 piece construction disappointed me. I've always enjoyed the rubber backing on the defenders but this has a slippery plastic back on it. also, I ordered the camo one, and the camo is simply a sticker they placed on the back plastic. On my specific case the sticker was not centered correctly and being the perfectionist that I am it has really bothered me. To summarize, this case has not lived up to the quality i have come to expect from otterbox and I have been pretty disappointed. It certainly doesn't appear to be worth the money especially when you compare it to other similar cases that are priced below it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Despite installation of defender pro and screen protector my screen cracked within two weeks - without even dropping it. Just in my coat pocket. My only explanation is that it must have been hit at a weird angle by my door key in my pocket or something like that. The crack is next to the ring on/off button on the phone. But really I thought this would provide more protection. Hugely disappointed.

Looks great, feels great but rubber slides back off the top corner every time in or out of pocket. Gets annoying. Had one for iPhone 15 did the same thing. Protects great.

Way too expensive to have to also purchase a front and camera screen protector. Dropped my phone within one week and the camera screen protector cracked so thankful I had it. 0/10 do not recommend.

I’ve had otter box cases for years and year. Always the camo version. This version just did not fit right. Also the camo on the back is glossy which makes scratches easy to see.
