We have purchased Otterbox cases for all the iPhones (3) and iPads (4) we have ever owned. They are relatively expensive but are worth the extra cost. Have yet to have any damage occur to a device in one of these cases.

everything is fine. I used a very old one for a very old phone and all that happened was a little tearing of the rubber after a very long time. this new one looks great. Since I last bought an Otter Box it seems the screen protector is a whole separate piece. I had to figure out what it was and how it worked.

Otter Box is the best! My husband works construction and his phone is still undamaged thanks to the great protection. My phone does not get into daily dangerous situations :) yet it only takes one time!
