I purchased an Otterbox again and the case is more plastic that rubbery. Hopefully I can hold it better but I’m used to the other more clingy surface. Time will tell. Will I drop this new phone more than the old one? Time will tell.

We have had otter box on our previous phones with excellent results. The phones remain pristine after years of use. We expect the same for our 2 new iPhone Airs. The only criticism is that there are only two colors black and a very dark, muted blue, which reads as black.. Even at 24” away from the two phones side by side, there is difficulty detecting a difference. I usually choose a less severe color than black and would have liked a blue that was lighter in color.

Light weight yet very durable and designed in such a way that all phone buttons are easily accessible and very easy to activate. Some cases partially conceal phone buttons therefore making activation difficult. I love this case and I am very happy with it!

Excellent case for the new iPhone Air. Protects the phone well and doesn’t add much bulk to the phone that would take away from buying the light weight phone in the first place. I’ve had Otterbox cases before and went away looking for better, glad I came back.

Love the case. Only one issue. I use WhatsApp a lot. And my finger doesn’t get read when I push the talk button. Cuts out on me all the time. I now just turn my phone sideways and hold the button to talk.

I replaced my iPhone 12 with an iPhone Air (17) and immediately put the OtterBox Defender on it - just like my old phone, so I wanted the same protection on the new phone.
They only issue I had was the “silent” button didn’t work (it was a toggle on my old phone, but a button my the iPhone Air) - I peeled off the flexible cover on the OtterBox and adjusted the plastic piece to focus on the button and that corrected the issue
