I replaced my iPhone 12 with an iPhone Air (17) and immediately put the OtterBox Defender on it - just like my old phone, so I wanted the same protection on the new phone.
They only issue I had was the “silent” button didn’t work (it was a toggle on my old phone, but a button my the iPhone Air) - I peeled off the flexible cover on the OtterBox and adjusted the plastic piece to focus on the button and that corrected the issue

Love the case. Only one issue. I use WhatsApp a lot. And my finger doesn’t get read when I push the talk button. Cuts out on me all the time. I now just turn my phone sideways and hold the button to talk.

Excellent case for the new iPhone Air. Protects the phone well and doesn’t add much bulk to the phone that would take away from buying the light weight phone in the first place. I’ve had Otterbox cases before and went away looking for better, glad I came back.

Light weight yet very durable and designed in such a way that all phone buttons are easily accessible and very easy to activate. Some cases partially conceal phone buttons therefore making activation difficult. I love this case and I am very happy with it!
