A solid upgrade to my home security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve just set up our Ring Outdoor Camera and honestly, it’s become one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I had it. Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it was up, I started feeling a lot more at ease about what’s happening around my home. The video quality is clear enough that I can actually see faces and details. I check the app throughout the day just to see what the camera’s picked up - from packages, people walking by, even our neighborhood cat racing across our yard. I also really like the motion alerts; they’re timely and customizable so I’m not getting pinged every time a leaf blows by. It’s brought me real peace of mind. Definitely feels like a solid upgrade to home security without being complicated or annoying.

Great outdoor cam!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Outdoor Pro Cam is a great for installing in backyard or above the garage. It uses USB C connection and 20 watt power supply which is permanently attached to the device. It works great with my application, sends motions notifications and let me view footage easily on my phone. Few things to consider before purchasing are that you cannot use a USB C cable and plug into any device to charge it. Also, there is no battery or solar backup. It must be connected directly to AC outlet. This didn’t bother me but might be something others want to know before purchasing.

Definition ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the features and the images are very defined. I use it indoors to keep track of my Senior dog throughout the day. The App is easy to use, easy to install. It’s small enough where it doesn’t take up a lot of shelf space and it’s easy to store.

Think about before purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera gets a 4 stars because it is easy to set up, links up easily with your phone and gets the job done. The 2 largest downsides are the price of getting one camera is hefty and the subscription. If you don’t get the subscription, it limits the cameras purpose a ton and there are cameras that does not require a subscription.

Great for security

I do not have a working outdoor outlet, but this camera is perfect for indoors as well when we are not home to ensure the security of our home with it's motion activation.

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was amazing to set up! Super quick and easy was not complicated at all. I was really surprised about how wide the view was, i expected it to be around half of that. The quality of image is great, I can even see things at night a lot more clear than my eyes can. I wish there was wireless option, like solar panels or batteries, the cable is quite bulky and its hard to get a power source outdoors. I was a bit worried about its connection, I do not have a spare ethernet cable, but it works perfectly fine with wifi! Loved that it has an option to report whats happening via notifications and that the app is convenient
