Cannot Play Game

Game Version 1.00.02 dated March 21, 2026.
Insert Crimson Desert disc into the PS5 and it starts up the game with the Adjust the Settings menu.
After that, press Play or press New Game and it does not work.
I cannot play the game. It might just be my copy, but the game is defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3 Stars Because I thought The Game Was Broken

At first the game loaded the menu screen and screen settings, but wouldn't start if I pressed Play or New Game.
I thought I had to get a refund for a defective game. Actually, the user experience design of the game is bad.
You have to press and hold the NEW GAME button for 10 seconds and you can't see very well to know that's what you have to do. The game works. Really bad game developers. No colour or visual distinction, and small words everywhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Definitely not a one star

Crimson Desert is a slow to pick up kind of game with a true next generation experience. The player must be willing to invest in this games and character to truly experience what pearl abyss has to offer as this game is very interesting and quite beautiful. Crimson Desert is worth purchasing. When it comes to the ratings, definitely not a one star, but indeed four or more.
I would recommend this to a friend!
